West Bengal is amongst the fastest growing states in terms of Green Built Environment in the country. The robust policies and growing demand and awareness have established the state amongst the top three in the country in terms of the largest green footprints with over 900 million sq. ft green footprints, through over 1200 projects of different types going green with IGBC.

Bengal today stands at a pivotal juncture, where the convergence of sustainability, infrastructure growth, and green innovation is redefining the state's future roadmap. To further advance this collective mission and deliberate on addressing the robustness of the sustainable growth in the sector, it is critical and crucial that the futuristic transitions is defined through necessary interventions and collective efforts in continuing the path of sustainability towards Net Zero. 

With above backdrops, CII-IGBC Kolkata is organizing its flagship regional event, Green Bengal Summit 2025 which is scheduled on Friday, 6 June at CII – Suresh Neotia Centre of Excellence for Leadership, Kolkata between 1100 – 1900 hrs. The summit aims to convene key government leaders, planners, developers, architects and all the sustainability experts to explore strategies to accelerate Bengal’s green transformation.

The summit would mainly deliberate on:

• Special addresses by key govt. and industry experts
• Curated panel discussions and exclusive chats with sustainability leaders
• Climate-resilient urban transformation
• Net Zero strategies for the future
• Emerging green and low carbon products, technologies and solutions
• Awards and recognition to champions walking the talks of green
