Subsequent to the launch of 'LEED 2011 for India - New Construction (NC)', IGBC will launch 'LEED 2011 for India - Core & Shell (CS)' on 20 October 2011 during the inaugural event of Green Building Congress 2011, New Delhi.

Effective 20 October 2011, IGBC will accept registrations under LEED 2011 for India - NC & CS.

The sunset date for project registrations under the existing LEED India rating systems (NC v 1.0 & CS v 1.0) is 19 October 2011.

After the sunset date, projects that are registered under LEED India NC 1.0 and CS v 1.0 will have an option to upgrade for free to a newer version of LEED India.
